MODERN COMPENSATION AND FINANCIAL SYSTEMS
After the completion of our Advanced Education Program, you are supported financially during your first year on the floor by maintaining your hourly wage as you continue to build your clientele. As a Stylist you are paid on comission. Compensation is based not purely on production, but on your educational progress and preset objectives such as customer service skills, retail sales and client retention. In keeping with our philosophy of teamwork, employees may also participate in a team-based profit sharing plan. This consists of profit-based incentive bonuses that are achieved through team accomplishments.
SIMPLE IRA
We currently provide a Simple IRA retirement plan to employees once they've reached their first anniversary. Members may elect to defer up 3% of their bi-monthly pay which the salon then matches.
MEDICAL BENEFITS
Following your six-month anniversary, you will be eligible to enroll in our medical, dental, and vision plans 50% of members premiums are covered by the salon.
PAID VACATION
All full-time employees of JAMES CRAIG will accrue paid vacation time, starting on your six-month anniversary. Vacation benefits accrue at a rate of one week in the first year and second year, 2 weeks beginning in the 3rd year.
