Your training at James Craig will be extensive and ongoing. We believe that the education you receive in your cosmetology program is just the beginning, a base upon which to build advanced skills.
We are an education-driven company. Our three levels of skill certification are designed to ensure technical excellence and total customer satisfaction. Your education will cover all facets of your career: professional skills, advanced hair coloring techniques, advanced haircutting, styling, business management, marketing and interpersonal skills. As each module is completed, you will be tested and moved to the next level.
The entire James Craig team enjoys semi-annual advanced education provided by top Redken Artists from the Redken Exchange in New York. Top performing stylists are also sent to Redken's Las Vegas Symposium and the Redken Exchange in New York.

Not a stylist yet? Consider training at the Redken Academy for Salon Professionals, located about 30 minutes from the salon in Santa Clara, California.
With modernized educational programs, a state-of-the-art facility and an industry-wide network, the Academy is creating the next generation of industry leaders.
Designed by New York City's Peter Millard, the Academy is a professional-grade facility that glows with achievement. With 3 large classrooms, 50 styling stations, separate manicure and pedicure areas, a gorgeous spa room, and state-of-the-art equipment, students are provided a high-end environment, attractive to a fun and style-conscious clientele.
